Curates opens a new chapter in Durban’s underground scene with the launch of its Friday night residency in the Engine Rooms at CRCL, previously Origin. Curates and CRCL fully support the LGBTQ+ community, standing firmly for diversity and equal inclusion on our dancefloor. Built on the principles of respect, inclusivity, and musical integrity, Curates and CRCL continues its commitment to providing a safe space for all. We enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy toward any form of discrimination, harassment, or behavior that compromises the wellbeing of our community.
This residency introduces Durban’s first weekly underground house and techno night powered by a full Funktion-One sound system, a space designed for focused listening, deeper connection, and club culture that prioritizes the music.
